Have Skis. Will Race.
Following our very successful family ski week in Zermatt, where conditions were very good for most of the week, we returned to begin classes on February 4th and the start of the second semester. However, the day before classes began, and after a full week of skiing in Zermatt, one of our students, Filip K. competed in the Swiss Group of International Schools’ giant slalom race. Despite not having race skis or a race suit, and despite not having raced in several years, Filip finished third of 29 racers and captured the bronze medal! Quite an accomplishment for a student who was racing on powder skis on a course he had never seen before! Congratulations, Filip!
