Travelling by Rail
Most international flights arrive into Zurich or Geneva; both of these airports house the train station internally, making your connection to Neuchatel quite simple. Once you arrive and collect your luggage, simply follow the directions to the train, purchase a ticket to Neuchatel, and board your train. The journey from Zurich airport to Neuchatel is 2 hours, 10 minutes, while the journey from Geneva airport is 1 hour and 20 minutes. Trains normally leave once per hour. When you arrive in Neuchâtel, exit the train station; across the road (Cret-Taconnet) is the Alpes et Lac Hotel to your right, the post office directly in front, and Neuchatel Junior College to your left, down a short lane (look for the sign at the lane entry).
