Ms. Brenda Neil, NJC ‘90, BA, MBA
Director of Admission
Brenda was born in Montreal and grew up in Southern Ontario. One day in early 1989, a very wise Aunt proposed to Brenda’s parents that they consider sending her to a school called Neuchâtel Junior College. After stepping onto that plane, her life changed in ways that she would never have imagined before. While at NJC, she traveled to 14 countries and well over 40 destination cities, seeing the world and her future from her new, independent point of view. Following graduation, Brenda earned her Honours Bachelor of Arts, with a major in English and a minor in French, followed by an MBA. Ever since, she has dedicated her career to the promotion of that which she truly believes in - independent school education. From 1998-2002, Brenda served as Admission Officer for Neuchâtel Junior College, and, for the next decade was The Country Day School’s Director of Communications. In 2012, Brenda returned ‘home’ to NJC. She considers it rewarding to convey the virtues of an extraordinary educational experience that is so positively life changing. Her own Neuchâtel experience ignited her understanding of herself, the world, and her never-ending sense of adventure.
