The Class of 2024 has had an extraordinary year, and it's almost time to bid them adieu. Although it's sad to see them go, we have an opportunity to create a lasting legacy of their time here for future generations of NJC students. You will ensure that their contributions, achievements, and experiences are remembered and celebrated for years to come.

Help Bridge the financial gap for NJC students - Gifts supporting Tuition Bursaries will allow more promising students to benefit from the one-of-a-kind Neuchâtel education. Financial need should not be a barrier to an outstanding education. On average, one in six students gain access to the NJC experience with financial assistance each year.  On average, one in six students’ NJC experience is supported by financial assistance each year. Your gift will help bridge the financial gap and provide “the best year of their life.”

Target Goal - 75% of funds will be directed to Tuition Bursaries

Ensure no student is left behind - Gifts supporting Travel Bursaries will ensure all students can afford travel while they are at NJC.  A critical element of the Neuchâtel Advantage is the ability to take classroom learning into the world through travel.  On average, one in five NJC students benefit from our travel bursary program to amplify their learning experience through travel.  You can help provide an opportunity to take classroom learning into the world. 

Target Goal - 20% of funds raised will be directed to Travel Bursaries

Creature Comforts - NJC has become a home away from home for the Class of 2024. To celebrate their year, and share in the success of the campaign, a small portion of funds raised will be used to purchase student-suggested creature comforts.  

Target Goal - 5% of funds raised will be directed to student creature comforts

Class Gift FAQ 

Why does Neuchâtel need to raise money?  

As a non-profit school, our tuition is set each year to cover operating costs, which means projects that further the school must come through philanthropy. Like all independent schools, we rely on our community to support the ideas and advancements that will enrich the NJC experience. By giving to the College, parents partner with us in the quality and excellence of our unique experiential approach to education.

Where does my donation fund? 

Funds raised from the Class of ’24 will be used for:
  • Tuition Bursaries (75% of total dollars raised)
  • Travel Bursaries (20% of total dollars raised)
  • Student suggested creature comforts (5% of total dollars raised)

Online giving is available for US and UK families and receive a tax receipt in their currency. 

Can I support a different area of need? 

Yes, your donation can be directed to other programs including the Head of School’s Fund, which allows the school to direct resources to areas of greatest need such as curriculum enhancement, extracurriculars, campus upgrades and investments for long-term stability.  Speak to Andrew about other giving opportunities. 


How will I be recognized for my donation? 

We want to celebrate your generosity! NJC values gifts of all amounts and will recognize donors in the following way. Donors can also choose to remain anonymous.

Neuchâtel Junior College offers the unique opportunity to study Canadian curriculum abroad. While living in Switzerland in a French community, students enjoy an international education through travel and experiential learning in Europe. Gap year and Grade 12  high school students gain international experience and develop independence and life skills that prepare them for university and the global workplace.
