In May 2006, the Federal Budget created a new incentive for gifting marketable securities to public charities by eliminating capital gains tax on such gifts. Please contact your financial advisor to discuss other tax advantages or your broker to initiate the transfer gifts of securities by emailing advancement@neuchatel.org to request a transfer form.
