Gifts of Securities:
There are considerable tax advantages to making a gift of appreciated securities (stocks and bonds). In May 2006, the Federal Budget created a new incentive for gifting marketable securities to public charities by eliminating capital gains tax on such gifts. Please contact your financial advisor to discuss other tax advantages or your broker to initiate the transfer gifts of securities by downloading and completing this form here.
