Graduation Celebration

Families, faculty, staff and friends and even some pension Mesdames et Monsieurs celebrated the achievements of NJC’s Class of 2019 in a beautiful graduation ceremony hosted on June 14th 2019 at Le Temple Du Bas.
This stellar class can boast of many achievements. An incredible 96% of eligible graduates received the distinction of Ontario Scholar, in earning 80% or higher on their top six Grade 12 courses. Within the highly competitive university admissions environment, applications were made to top schools across Canada, the US, Australia and Europe. In response, the class received offers of admission from around the world—from Queen’s Commerce to Parsons School of Design and Georgetown University—and nearly one million dollars in merit scholarship offers!

Highlights of the ceremony included Eric Godden’s Valedictory address, which likened the NJC experience to ascending a mountain, and Class of 2003 alumna, Nicole Verkindt’s graduation address on the perfect topic of “Finding things that make you a new you.”

It is with great pride that we congratulate Neuchâtel Junior College’s Class of 2019 and welcome them as NJC alumni!
