Miranda de Pencier '87 Addresses Graduating Class

The Class of 2020, their families, faculty and guests welcomed commencement speaker, Ms. Miranda de Pencier '87, at the virtual graduation ceremony on Friday.
Miranda is an award-winning actress, producer, and director who met with a few NJC students in Bern this past November.

In her commencement address, Miranda shared three important lessons that this challenging time has taught us all:

1. Life is unpredictable, so make the most of it and follow your dreams.
2. Sometimes bad things happen, so take each failure as an opportunity.
3. We all need each other. Be kind, give back and be the generation that is inclusive.
