Mr. Karel Krejci Vergara

French Second Language Teacher
B.Ed. Second Language Teaching
Université du Québec à Montréal (UQÀM)
Karel is a dedicated teacher with a passion for both education and exploration. His love for teaching is only matched by his enthusiasm for traveling and experiencing new cultures.

Working with the youth brings him immense joy as he believes in nurturing their potential and guiding them towards a brighter future.
When he’s not in the classroom, you’ll likely find him playing a game of ice hockey, gliding through the streets on a skateboard or immersed in the world of music. On top of that, what truly
drives him is the art of forming genuine connections with his students, watching them flourish, and knowing that he is making a positive impact on their lives.

As a native French speaker and with a background in teaching in Montreal’s high schools, Karel recently embraced a thrilling leap of faith by relocating to Switzerland; his decision to teach in this new country reflects his commitment to fostering learning in new and exciting environments.

His classroom is a place where his Canadian roots intertwine harmoniously with the Swiss landscape, creating a unique educational atmosphere that encourages curiosity and global
perspective.
